|SNAP is holding a vigil tonight (May 3) from 9pm to 10:15pm with SNAP’s executive director, David Clohessy. The point of the vigil is to prevent further abuse. We know that tomorrow Archbishop Chaput is making an announcement. We want church officials to disclose more, not less, about predatory priests, and explain why they kept kids needlessly at risk by keeping silent about every one of the 37 accused priests for more than a year.
If you can, please bring signs and childhood photos.
It will be held at 222 N 17th St. (Between Race St. and Vine St.).
In front of the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Headquarters.
