A couple of years ago, Kathy and I had the honor of meeting a devoted mother whose son was a survivor of clergy abuse. That son has recently passed away. We are asking for you to keep their family and friends in your prayers.

Early this morning I had a very vivid dream in which my dad was hugging me tightly as I told him I loved him and my mom and we were both sobbing. The dream was so real that I can still feel him hugging me now that I am awake. My dad passed away 6 yrs ago. I am praying that this survivors mother and her family know that love never ends it just changes form and there is a peace that comes with this understanding. Grieving is very difficult but if we didn’t have such love in our hearts we wouldn’t have such sorrow…….I am praying for the peace and comfort of this family and for their son who I imagine is in his heavenly Fathers arms at this very moment.
Amen.
Amen. God bless him and all who loved him
Know that you, your family, and your son are in my thoughts and prayers.
Yes, prayers for the son, his mother, family and friends, most certainly. From Psalm 90: “Give us joy to balance our affliction, for the years when we knew misfortune.”
It will be a pleasure to pray for that family and the friends thereof.
All my prayers today are for him and his family.
